Salvation Army 2021 Red Kettle Volunteers

Our Bridge family is partnering with Salvation Army this Christmas to share the love of Christ with our neighbors. Please carefully read the details below and sign up for a slot by using the link provided. DO NOT USE THE SUBMIT BUTTON BELOW.

The 2021 Red Kettle Season is upon us here at The Salvation Army, and we need your help!  The funds raised through the Red Kettles assist needy families and individuals right here in Waynesboro and East Augusta County with food, clothes, toys, and gifts at Christmas, as well as emergency services that aid families in crisis throughout the year.

The Red Kettles is our biggest fundraiser and is essential to all our programs and services, but the kettles are only successful with the support of our volunteers.  That is why we are asking if you will please consider giving a few hours of your time to ring the bell?

This year we will have 10 kettle locations throughout Waynesboro and East Augusta County.  We will begin manning a few locations on weekends beginning November 11 and then on November 26 all locations will be active through December 24.   The attached list outlines the days and locations where we will be placing a Red Kettle.

To sign up for a time slot to volunteer (a minimum 4-hour time slot is preferred), please visit https://www.registertoring.com and enter our zip code.  This online process is easy to use for individuals and groups and allows  group members to sign up directly under their group.   Should you have any questions regarding this new process, feel free to call our office 540-943-7591 ext. 101.

Also, because we are still facing the effects of COVID-19, your safety and well-being are of utmost importance to us.  Precautions will be in place as you consider volunteering. At a minimum all volunteers will be required to wear face coverings and are encouraged to practice social distancing between the volunteer and donors.  We will also offer contactless giving through Apple and Google Pay which will be displayed on each kettle sign.
